Dear Rechtswinkel,

I bought a TV with my ex-girlfriend on 23-July-2018 for a price of EUR399. We shared the cost 50/50 so I paid EUR199.50 or about EUR200. The TV was intended to be used by us when I visited my ex-girlfriend in her studio. We ended the relationship on 06-December-2017. I now want to reclaim the EUR200 that I paid for the TV, my ex-girlfriend can keep the TV. I have emailed my ex-girlfriend requesting her to send me EUR200. In my email I said:
"""
I want EUR200 for the TV we bought together, since you have it and I paid half and we no longer have a positive friendship.
"""

The reply I received from my girlfriend:
"""
Won't give you anything. Won't contact anymore. I don't owe you anything. You should pay me by hours on all the time I wasted on you. Goodbye
"""

Since it is shared property, is there anything I can do legally to get her to pay me?

Thanks
Kind regards,
PersonX

You can claim the value what it is worth today , and discalculate it from the sum you paid and share the costs.
