Hello,
I rent a flat here in Netherlands from Woonpartners. Few months ago my friend was being kicked out from previous flat because the landlord was selling it. I offered for him to stay with me until he finds a new accommodation, no later than new years. It been close to a month and a half of constant fighting trying to move him out. He plain out refuses to leave.

He heard from someone that if he stays in the flat for more than 6 months, I can't kick him out. He's saying that if I force him out, he'll make sure I will lose the flat, that i rent from Woonpartners. There is no rental contract with him, just a verbal agreement to let him stay until specific date. He paid his fees in cash for staying. I did not make any profit from him staying, even lost 20 eur monthly for increased bills.

Should I inform Woonpartners first and explain the situation or just call the police ? I can't afford to lose the flat, since its rented for me for my lifetime and if there is a problem, I can lose it and not be able to apply again. In my opinion the only way I can lose the flat is if my friend makes some kind of call to them and makes it look that I made money by "renting" the flat to him. I do not speak dutch, it's hard to find information on this topic and help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

That's an awkward situation in which you are right now. Going to the police does not make any sense, only in case of violence. You can ask the police assistance. Your friend does not have any contract with you or the landlord, so he has no right staying in your flat, not even after living there for more than 6 months. I think you should not be afraid of losing your flat because of renting it to your friend. This is not the case and your friend has to leave your flat on your behalf.
