hello,
I was working as a waitress in a restaurant in noord holland for 6 weeks as an expat. there were several employment issues and a team meeting was held. i was the only non-dutch member of the team and was not permitted to join the meeting (the only member of staff who was not invited and the only one who was not present -as result). the manager opened the meeting explaining that i was not at the meeting as i was not dutch (informed to me by my colleagues who were present).
i made the decision to speak with the manager the following day with regards to the matter and how i would not work in that environment and was told that he did not want to speak to me and walked off. i emailed my notice and left the building. it was a part time signed contract with no notice period, rotas made the on the sunday for the coming week etc. in the email i wrote my reason for leaving and that i expected pay. i never got a reply. today (21days later and 1 day late of pay) i contacted my employer that i was not paid, he asked me to submit hours but then stated that he would withhold pay and blocked me on all networking platforms.
does anyone know where i stand on my employee rights or any ways i can challenge this employer? it is 14 days to christmas, i am desperate.

Hello, first of all you have a right to receive your wages. Use the letter I have added. When there is no attached file, you can find it on the website of juridischloket.nl If you need help you can go to the same Juridisch Loket. The second thing is that you are discriminated against. You must take contact/complain to the Dutch college of human rights, www.mensenrechten.nl
