Hi there,
My neighbour from the opposite of my garden doesn't want to have any cats in his garden. As a result he decided to put fence on his shed, so that the cats can't go to his garden.
And here's the tricky part:
- The wall that separates our gardens seems/likely to be the wall of his shed
- the fence he put on top of the shed is on the wall which is facing my side of the garden. If I look into the garden, it looks like I put fence on the wall from my garden side which is also the boundary of my garden.
I found the fence very disturbing, as the fence starts at the middle of the garden wall.
Do I have rights to ask my neighbour to put the fence on the wall which faces his garden instead? Or because the wall is likely his property, there's not much I can do to change the situation?
Hope to hear back from you soon!
Thanks!
Yue

When the wall is so called " mandelig" , stands exactly in the mid of two the grounds, the " erfgrens," then your neighbour has the right to build on his half of the wall. If this wall stands solely on his ground, he can do with it what he likes , while he must respect the enviromental rules. ( heigt en so on)
