Under certain conditions, there is automatically a contract for an indefinite period. This is the case, for example, if 2 or more fixed-term contracts have been concluded and the contracts last longer than 36 months in total. The last contract is then automatically a contract for an indefinite period. This is also the case with you. The fact that you have now concluded an agreement with a different employer on paper does not change this; this employer is deemed to be the successor (see article 7:668a BW). The contract therefore continues, as it were.
