In the meantime, another company (part of a large group) has come and some employees will be able to continue working there. Two weeks ago, I received an 'unsigned' employment contract, so that I can go to that new company that will officially start on 1 June 2014. Yesterday, I went to my director to indicate that I agree and therefore want to sign. I was told that due to the loss of a major client, they are going to review things again. In other words, who can and will still be able to go to the 'new' situation and who cannot. He did not say that there is no longer a place for me, but in the meantime I am curious whether that is just possible?
Again, there are no signatures on it.

gr,

Lawyer

As you describe it, the employer can no longer back out. You have been offered an offer and you have already accepted it. The signatures are actually a formality. Labor law is my specialty and I am happy to help you with this if you cannot reach an agreement with your employer. Please feel free to contact me directly without obligation.

https://www.rechtswinkel.nl/en/products/vragen-24225-geachte-heer-mevrouw-het-bedrijf-waar-ik-voor-werk-heeft-bij-de-uwv-een-collectief-ontslag-aangevr
