I currently work 40 hours and want to work 30 hours after my maternity leave (so I will take 10 hours). What are my rights and obligations??? I have been working for this employer for years and have always had a 'fixed' schedule, I am flexible, I also had a schedule change 1 year ago, but now that I want to give up 10 hours, they say at work that I now (always worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday all day and Fridays until 12:30\/13:00) have to have a different schedule (I don't know if they will actually go ahead with it, that's why I want to know what my rights and obligations are) they never said anything and now suddenly this. Can I do this? I think I think those 10 hours should be taken from my 'normal' working days and not that I suddenly have to work differently!!!
