There are CAOs that do have an article for this and employers sometimes also give paid or unpaid leave.\n\n The CAO GGZ 2011-2013 does indeed not have any provisions in this area (apart from the fact that this CAO has now expired). Now that your employer refuses to give you paid or unpaid leave, I am afraid that you will have to take leave for the fertility treatments yourself.\n \nThe European Court did rule in 2008 on the dismissal of an Austrian employee who underwent fertility treatments. The Court found that the dismissal was in conflict with the Equal Treatment Directive.
