This acquaintance asked me if he could stay there, whereupon I offered him a postal address as an alternative help, since he could not go to any agency during that period due to not being registered in the GBA.\n\n He actually stays at various addresses of acquaintances for short periods, since apparently no one is waiting to take him in for a longer period. It turns out that he suffices to have a postal address with me, which has been the case for 3 months now.\n\n After 16 years of entrepreneurship, his company went bankrupt and shortly afterwards he also got divorced.\n \nBailiffs now regularly receive letters in which a number of them indicate that they want to seize income or household effects in order to obtain a judgment.\n\n Anyway, now there are no belongings of his at my address.\n\n Is it legally possible for a bailiff to seize my household effects?\n Understand that if neither of us communicates anything I run the risk that they could show up unannounced if I'm not there!\n\n What rights does a bailiff have in this regard to a postal address!. I don't feel like they have the right to do this, or that I should always have all kinds of proofs of ownership of my belongings ready for these kinds of visits.\n\n I hope you can help me with this before I take action.\n\n\u003ch4\u003e Lawyer\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\n A postal address is not a residential address.
