When I was hired, NS was our head office. I was told verbally that I would receive travel expenses after my one-month trial period. Great, right? When I had to come in to sign my contract, it was not stated under reimbursements that I would receive that. The person who hired me said that this was only for certain NS subscriptions, but that I would still receive it. Okay...\n I never looked at my payslips until we were taken over on December 1. Our contracts from NS were taken over without changes but we had to save our payslips because we would no longer be able to log in to the NS site after the takeover.\n \nWhen I did that, I noticed that there was no amount for travel expenses anywhere. I asked about it and it was indeed not there. Now, 8 to 9 months later, I have never received any travel expenses. This is about 1,024 euros. I paid 8 euros per day per month for travel expenses, I work 4 days a week (NS reimburses your entire journey). I am now simply told that I cannot claim anything back because we have now been taken over. Isn't that strange? I am verbally told that I will simply get it and now, due to a mistake by the assistant manager who hired me, they are stealing that money from me. Do they have this right? No effort is made to contact NS and explain the story.\n\n Is there ANYTHING I can do to get that money back?
