Assistance with legal questions about residential addresses

Questioner

Good afternoon. My brother in law is a professional driver. His paper driver's license etc. were stolen. He has no residential address lives on a campsite. Due to violation. He also has some debts. He was able to apply for his ID, but his driver's license was not possible at the municipality of Medemblik unless he had a residential address. Now he asks if my parents-in-law can be his residential address. They have rented a 3-room senior citizen's home and live on an AOW with a very small pension. Can you tell us if this is allowed and what the possible consequences would be if they provided my brother-in-law with a wook address. Hoping for a quick response. Kind regards

If you register there, the parents will be cut on allowances and AOW, because you will become a cost-sharer. Bailiffs will also come to the door or collection agencies will start writing to your parents. You could draw up an agreement between the parents regarding the debt burden. If you wish, you may contact me directly.
