Assistance with guardianship and mentorship
Questioner
I have a sister who is mentally handicapped. I have applied for guardianship for her and she has been appointed a guardian by the court. This guardian is also her mentor. There are urgent reasons for my sister, who herself indicates that she no longer wants this guardian and no longer as a mentor but appoints me. The guardian has also arranged a family replacement home where my sister is very unhappy. What can I do now to apply for guardianship for myself and take over mentorship. I have previously had my sister in my home for 2 years and have guided her in everything up to now.Lawyer
Your sister decides for herself whether she dismisses the administrator. She also has the right to appoint you as her administrator. You can then submit a request for this. If desired, you can contact me directly.Neem de volgende stap
