Legal assistance with employment contracts
Questioner
I got a one-year contract last year. Expires on October 1st. I was supposed to get another one-year contract, but it has now changed to 10 months. I then contacted work and told them it was a mistake. Because now instead of 12 months, 10 months has been changed. Then I was told that this has become the new collective labor agreement in healthcare. I work in a nursing department. I would like to know if this is legally allowed.Lawyer
An oral commitment to a contract is legally binding. If your employer wants to continue with you, but not with a permanent contract, that can be a reason for the change. I can check for you whether you can hold your employer to the promise and have worked with employment contracts before.Neem de volgende stap
