House sold? Unsubscribe and postal address explanation

Questioner

My house has been sold, I should deregister, but that is not possible because I am temporarily staying with family with my family because the new house that I bought is being delivered seriously delayed. Deregistration is only possible if I can register at a new address. I will not get temporary housing at such short notice because I am not in prison and am not seriously mentally disturbed. Now I am being 'threatened' by the municipality with all kinds of fines. What do you think is the way out of this impasse?

If you do not have a residential address as referred to in the Personal Records Database Act (BRP), you can register in the BRP at a postal address. This is also possible if, for example, you are in a care institution, a women's shelter or a prison, or if you live in a vessel or vehicle. The postal address is temporary. In many cases, the municipality will agree with you how long you may remain registered at a postal address. A postal address is only an administrative address, you do not live here. You can obtain more information from your municipality or, if desired, you can contact me directly.

Thanks. That's what my common sense thought. An overzealous civil servant probably.
