Legal assistance with contracts and signatures

Questioner

I moved with my horse to a boarding stable on 25-07-16 and signed a contract with a one-month notice period upon departure. Now a lady from the stable signed the contract with me but the signature is from someone else, who was not present. Now after 2 weeks it is not the stable I was looking for and now want to leave on 1-9-16 but then have to pay a month's stabling, according to them I can only leave on 1-10 without extra costs. Isn't there such a thing as a trial period and is the contract valid with a forged signature.

Lawyer

If this lady was 'authorized' to sign on behalf of the other, then this is not a problem. However, this lady must sign on her own behalf and not with a signature of another, because that is not legally valid. If you cannot figure it out, then you may contact me directly if you wish.
