Legal questions about self-employed persons and the Chamber of Commerce?
Questioner
An American company has made me an offer to work for them. The company is located in America and has no branch in the Netherlands. I am, as they say, an 'Independent worker'. My salary is paid gross and I have to pay all taxes via the Dutch tax system. So far everything is clear to me. However, they state that you must work fulltime for them/through them. In the Netherlands I am a ZZP'er given the term independent worker. Do I have to register as a self-employed person with the Chamber of Commerce? After all, I only have/can consult 1 employer later?Lawyer
If you are going to work full time on an independent basis, it is advisable to set up a sole proprietorship or a BV/NV or a Foundation. For more information, you can contact me.Neem de volgende stap
