Legal Assistance with Bankruptcy and Debt Restructuring

Questioner

My friend had to close his business. The creditors rejected the application for debt restructuring. This application is now going to court. We are afraid that this will not work either and that he will have to file for bankruptcy, despite the fact that he complies with the rules, cooperates well and has had a job for some time. We live together, but it's debts made by my boyfriend. We don't have a cohabitation contract/are not married. How does this work with the amount to be released? Does this remain the same in the event of bankruptcy as was calculated when applying for debt restructuring? Thank you!

Lawyer

In the event of bankruptcy, his job may also be at stake and the creditors may shift the claim to the employer. The best thing is that you make an interim arrangement with the claimants and then you can still buy off the issue in due course. If desired, I can assist you in this matter and you may contact me directly.
