Legal Assistance for Healthcare Workers
Questioner
I work in healthcare and have a 3-hour contract with an extension of 4 and a half hours. Anything above that must be discussed with my employer. Now suddenly they decide to make us work on call for a week! That means Short info: Phone is on weekdays from 5pm to 11pm. The next morning again at 6.30 am until 8.30 am. You will then be available to clients and employees from your own region. We get paid 7,325 hours for this. I am a single mother and therefore cannot just leave if I suddenly have to work an evening or early morning shift because a colleague is sick! In addition to my regular hours which are now 10 hours per week in consultation, I am well above the agreement that must be discussed. To what extent are they within their rights to oblige me to do this? We will increasingly take over office work.Lawyer
This is similar to changing the employment contract. You can object to this with the facts you state. You must consult with your employer about this. Obligation is a very big word. It should be seen as a change and you both need to consult about it.Neem de volgende stap
