Legal assistance with rental agreements and home purchases

Dear, My ex-partner and I still own a house together, of which I am a co-owner and where neither of us lives. My ex pays the mortgage. Now he has signed a long-term lease agreement without permission, with an option to buy under the vacancy law. He does not intend to sell the house in the meantime, which means my investment insurance will not be released. So I am actually standing with my back against the wall. Is this allowed? Is this lease valid? Tenant is already in the house.Lawyer
Before this lease can be established, you need permission, as you are both owners of the property. Perhaps the lease was entered into so that the sale cannot take place. Purchase does not break a lease. Please feel free to contact me for further information.Lawyer
If I understand correctly, you were married, divorced and the community thus dissolved is still not divided. In that case, only co-owners can enter into a lease agreement together. If you wish to sell the property and your ex does not wish to do so, you can submit a request to the court to be authorised to do so yourself without your ex's permission.Neem de volgende stap
