My employment contract runs until November 30, 2016. I was informed on August 31, 2016 (yesterday) that my temporary contract will not be extended to permanent. My question is, was I told 1 day too late? At least August 30th?Lawyer

If your contract runs until November 30, 2016, the employer will have given notice of termination (well) in advance. If you mean 30 September, then it was announced just in time. 1 Month in the WWZ means 1 calendar month and in that case that is the month of September. The notice must be in writing.
