Registering as a resident in the Netherlands

Questioner

I am going to resettle in the Netherlands but I do not yet have a permanent residential address and I want to register as a resident for healthcare allowance, DIGID, etc. I stay alternately with my mother, my sister and my boyfriend. I cannot register with my mother because then her AOW benefits will be reduced. I cannot register with my sister because then her rent and health care allowances etc. will be reduced. I don't want to register with my boyfriend because we've only been in a relationship for a few months. Can I register at a hotel address? Can I register as a homeless person without this having consequences for those around me? Kind regards. T. v L.

You cannot register in a Hotel. You want to resettle in the Netherlands, which is possible if you come from an EU country, otherwise it is not possible and you must apply for a residence permit. If you do come from another EU country, you can also apply for a postal address at the municipality of your future place of residence.
