In my mother's street, a meeting place with playground equipment and benches is being created through a neighborhood initiative. Now they want to place the meeting place right next to/against my mother's hedge. Is this allowed?

Placing street furniture is permitted without an environmental permit. However, the question is whether placing this type of object in a place where it is obvious that it will cause nuisance is wise. Contact the initiators and also the municipality that probably owns the land and will place the bench and the playground equipment, to see whether everything can be done in a way that gives less risk of nuisance.
