Legal advice when buying a house | Rechtswinkel.nl

Questioner

As of 01 December 2016, the deed of my house to be purchased will be passed at the notary. However, the house is already empty and since a lot of work needs to be done, I would like to have the key to the house sooner. Also since I have to leave my current house as of 01 November 2016. What kind of agreement can I draw up/use for this so that, in the event of any adjustments/changes to the property to be purchased, I can recover the costs from the seller if the seller unexpectedly wishes to cancel the purchase, as well as in the event of an increase in the value of the property? Thank you in advance for your quick response!

If you search the internet under 'key statement', you will find many examples that may be useful to you. It may be advisable, if you are going to do extensive renovations, to wait until the property has been transferred to you and to accept a possibly somewhat 'primitive' November month in the purchased but still to be renovated home.
