Reclaiming wages after suspension | Legal aid centre

Questioner

Due to the request for an expert opinion, the employer has suspended my wages. The outcome of the expert opinion of the UWV is that I am not suitable for my own or suitable work with my employer. However, I am suitable for work with another employer (taking into account the established possibilities) Based on this outcome of the UWV, I believe that my employer has wrongfully suspended my salary. I have informed him of this by email. He has not (yet) responded to this email. What can I do to reclaim my wages?

Lawyer

1. send an email or letter (keep a copy) requesting payment of wages (retroactively) within 8 days; 2. if the employer does not respond -> send a reminder with a request to pay within 5 days and claim the statutory increase under Article 7:625 of the Civil Code; 3. If the employer still does not pay, contact a specialized employment law attorney, such as me.

I would only use shorter term. I assume you need the money badly. 1. request to pay and send pay slips within 4 days and indicate that in the event of non-payment the statutory increase and statutory interest will be claimed. 2. If the payment is not made again, then indeed hire a lawyer. You may also contact me.
