Legal advice on floor coverings when purchasing a home
Questioner
I bought a house and the contract states that 'floor covering is not applicable'. Now it turns out that the selling party does not intend to remove the floor covering on the 1st floor in the bedroom because it is glued. The same goes for the stairs. I am not happy with this and would like the selling party to remove it. Do I have the legal right to demand that the selling party remove the floor covering? I look forward to hearing from you.Lawyer
This provision ('floor covering not applicable') probably concerns the question of which movable property is included in the purchase. Since the floor covering is not included, you are entitled to a home that is delivered free of floor covering and you can hold the seller liable if he wants to deliver the home without the floor covering being removed.Neem de volgende stap
