Help with legal questions about postal addresses
Questioner
We have been working for 5 years now for about 7 to 8 months a year at a campsite in Italy. We do this for a Dutch employer. Now we were registered as having a postal address at our son and daughter-in-law's. Now the municipality has announced that we have been working abroad for too long and can therefore no longer remain registered. They have now put us on the emigration status. Can this just happen??Lawyer
Yes, since the law changed, the postal address is only granted once or twice. It is better to keep a residential address, for example you rent a room from your son and can prove this by presenting a contract. If you then indeed stay abroad less than 8 months per year, there should be no problem.Neem de volgende stap
