Rental problem on houseboat? Get free advice!

Questioner

I am renting out a separate annex of a houseboat which is designated for permanent residence of houseboats. Naturally, the tenant was informed upon arrival that the destination was a houseboat and that no tenancy law applied. Current situation tenant does not pay, tenant keeps saying 'soon...' Tenant informed that if arrears continue the house will be evicted. The plan is to do this yourself as soon as 3 months of arrears have arisen, as according to the applicable rules, no rental rights apply. what is your opinion on this?

Lawyer

Because there is no tenancy law, there is an agreement between you both. If this agreement is not fulfilled, you can dissolve it, due to failure to comply. What is important for this, is that you put the 'tenant' in default so that the claim is/becomes due. If you wish, you may contact me directly for further information or legal assistance.
