Legal Advice on Benefits and Allowances
Questioner
At the moment I receive benefits from the social services. In addition, I also receive an allowance for my low income. Now I have found work for 14 hours with the possibility of more over time. BUT this work is in a different municipality than where I live. Now I have properly reported this to the municipality and I am told that my benefits will be stopped because I will have to apply for them in the municipality where I work. But I will continue to live where I already live. And without that extra and the salary I'm going to earn now, I'll soon have to make ends meet with 25 euros a month for groceries. Can the municipality just do this? I understand that they will deduct what I earn, but that is still not nearly as much as I receive in benefits. Is this all correct?Lawyer
That depends on how the municipal regulation is structured. If you contact me directly, I can find this out for you.Neem de volgende stap
