Is it wise for me to resign?
Questioner
I have a one-year contract as a temporary qualified teacher at a primary school. I am still in teacher training college. I have indicated that after 1.5 years in this situation I do not feel ready to stand in front of the class independently. My studies are not finished and I experience stress because I do not feel ready enough. The HR department of my school board now advises me to resign. I wonder if that is wise/desirable?Lawyer
If you resign (yourself), this may have adverse consequences for you. You may lose your benefit rights. It may be wiser to try to reach a settlement agreement. However, I advise you not to do this process yourself, but to seek advice and assistance from a lawyer specializing in labor law/education law.Neem de volgende stap
