Consequences of IOAW benefit cash prize or inheritance

Questioner

I am married and live in Deventer. We receive an IOAW benefit. We play a lottery. 1. Suppose I win a cash prize. 1a. What happens to my IOAW benefit? 1b. Do I have to 'eat' the cash prize first and will the IOAW benefit then be stopped (temporarily)? 2. My father is 93 years old. Sooner or later he will die. Am I obliged to report that I have received an inheritance? After all, an inheritance and assets are not taken into account for the IOAW. 3. I strongly suspect that the IOAW is applied differently by the municipalities. Is that correct and what can I do about it if, for example, I would be allowed to keep a cash prize in, say, Maastricht but not in Deventer?
