Stories of damage caused by company?
Questioner
In the fall, a company built a garden room on our house. In doing so, they soiled many patio tiles with cement that will not come off. In consultation with them, the floor was replaced, the quotes and invoices were sent to the company, they acknowledged their damage and promised to pay for it (about €4500). Then they don't pay and I've been chasing them for months. The sellers are only "concerned" with me and tell me how outrageous it is and then refer me to customer service. Because a lot was discussed by phone, I sent them an email so that I have proof that they promised to pay. This email is from May 9. Then nothing happens again. What can I do to get them to pay?Lawyer
Good afternoon, Annoying situation you are in. In principle, the company can indeed be held liable for the damage that has occurred. Compensation is usually provided through the company's insurance (if applicable). The company must be officially notified, since you believe that cooperation is lacking. If compensation for the damage is not forthcoming, the only option is to go to court. Feel free to contact us (without obligation) to discuss your case. We can also help you in the procedure for recovering your damages. Yours sincerely, Mr. Mr. S. Leito FerLei Legal 06-49175526Neem de volgende stap
