Product on Marktplaats is not as desired

I had a play kitchen made for my children on Marktplaats. This gentleman and lady make all the kitchens themselves, so all their products are custom made as they call it. The kitchen that I chose to have made was an existing kitchen that I had seen in the photo with an extra sink and tap. Beforehand I asked what kind of wood is used for the kitchens and that would be Douglas wood, which is great, because we have a lot of toys made of Douglas wood and that is very thick and sturdy. The kitchen should cost 975 euros in total, a lot of money absolutely. But then I should also receive a good product. We have been saving the children's birthday money for 2 years to be able to buy a nice and big present for them. Yesterday they delivered the kitchen (later than agreed in advance by the way) the ''holes/dents'' in the wood used really scared me. In addition, the kitchen was damaged on the corner. They wanted to give a discount and then leave it like that, this was not an option for me because in addition to the damage I was also really shocked by the quality of the wood. In addition, there were also many "cracks" in the wood itself, where you can see that the paint is not completely in, for example, or in some of those places the paint is already coming off, of course water will also get into those "cracks", I don't want to know what it does to the paint over time, so to speak. I refused to accept the kitchenette, the delivery person did not like this, which I can understand. I spoke to the seller about this afterwards, and he now says that they are going to fix the damage and that they cannot meet my wishes for the rest, it is a natural product and they used sustainable douglas wood. However, this is of very poor and low quality, because again I do not recognize this at all. In the meantime they have also adjusted the advertisement, and it no longer states that the kitchens are made of douglas wood, but sustainable planed douglas wood. (if I had known that in advance, I would not have ordered it anyway, since this is really a different quality of Douglas wood). This is not visible in the photo I received, which is why I was even more surprised when I saw the product. Unfortunately, I was not given the opportunity to take photos of the things I mentioned above by the delivery person, so I have no photos to confirm this. I have not paid (yet), because I was supposed to pay upon delivery and that has not yet taken place. What can I do now? Because for this article, as it looks, I really will not pay. For this amount I may receive a good and nicely finished product. I have indicated that I do not want a discount, I just want a good kitchen without all those dents of just decent real douglas wood. But the seller indicates that he cannot provide me with these wishes.

Annoying issue, however custom products must be made according to the order. If this is not the case, the contractor has the choice to repair the order. If this repair is still not forthcoming, you can put the contractor in default and possibly claim damages or terminate/annul the order.
