Car purchased privately with extensive technical damage: what can I do?

I bought a nice Mini Cooper S a month ago, from a private person. I paid €3950 for this car at the time, I have since requested the current value of my car online, and it is now €3638. I bought this car for business, if that makes a difference. Last week the MOT had expired, so I had to go to the garage. Then unfortunately the first misery started, the car had to be repaired for €730. Because the brakes were worn and no longer good. During this repair they unfortunately discovered that the car was leaking coolant, so after investigation they had replaced the thermostat (€330) but unfortunately this was not the problem. She advised me a repair where the cylinder head gasket had to be replaced, because the car was leaking coolant during combustion, which caused a lot of smoke from my exhaust, and this is not good. When taking the engine apart (to replace the cylinder head gasket) they discovered that this clutch had recently been replaced, but that the cylinder was torn. So this had to be replaced because it was not driveable. They also saw that the bottom of the engine was broken, a big crack. In addition, the engine mounts were also broken. In total, the repair will now cost at least €3500. So in total I will have spent almost €4500 on repairs for this car... I do not have legal expenses insurance but would still like to receive legal advice, because I have been quite misled by the previous owner of this car, because he really did not say anything about these problems.
