No money back from fraudulent website
Questioner
On Wednesday 3 January I placed an order for a game console on a website. The website stated 'in stock', which is why I chose this website. After placing the order and paying via iDeal (ING) I received a confirmation from the website that my order had been placed, but then it went quiet. After a week I contacted them to ask where my order was. I have had contact several times with a person who has been insisting for 3 weeks that the refund has 'failed' every time. I read on several forums that I am not the only victim of this website. What can I do?Lawyer
Good afternoon, Annoying situation you are in. Parties must comply with the agreement. In this case, it means that you as a consumer buyer are obliged to pay for a product and the (professional) seller must deliver the product. In the event that you have not received the product after payment, you must demand compliance. If compliance is still not forthcoming after a reasonable period (usually 2 weeks), you can terminate the agreement and request your money back. The process in this regard must be carried out accurately. Depending on the amount of the claim (purchase price), it could be worthwhile to obtain legal assistance in the process. Feel free to contact us without obligation to discuss the possibilities. Gr, Mr. Mr. S. Leito FerLei Legal 06-49175526Neem de volgende stap
