Liability after an Occupational Accident - Your Rights

Questioner

Ir/Madam, Due to the reorganization, my permanent contract will expire soon. My employer and I have signed the termination agreement by mutual consent. Three years ago, I had a work-related accident. Can I still hold my employer liable for the accident? The final settlement states (the final settlement does not extend to facts and circumstances that both parties could reasonably have known). Thank you in advance. Kind regards

Questioner

Dear questioner, The wording of the provision regarding final settlement is somewhat cryptic. At first glance, it appears that the industrial accident is not covered by the final settlement. There's a five-year statute of limitations, so you can hold your employer liable. If I can be of assistance, please contact me. lawyer
