A webmaster of a Dutch forum accused me of hacking. Because of this, he blocked me from the website. I don't mind that I can no longer use that website, but the webmaster in question has obtained my name and address. I'm not sure how. I've also requested, in accordance with privacy regulations, that all my posts and contributions linked to my username be deleted. I want to completely distance myself from the website in question because the webmaster accuses so many people of things they don't do. (He tells me I'm a hacker, while after an unjustified block, I created a second username simply through his forum software; there's nothing illegal about it.) Since the person in question has falsely accused me and has obtained my name, address, and city of residence, I want him to remove my postings, additions, and name and address details. I don't like it that someone with such unusual behavior knows my name and address without me having given them, so I'm wondering if it's legal how he obtained this information, since it's not publicly available online anywhere. How can I request that my information, forum posts, and additions be removed from this site?Questioner
You can try to achieve this through summary proceedings. You will need a lawyer for this. They can sue the site and the webmaster on the grounds of unlawful act and demand that the statements and the like be removed. If they refuse, they can then demand the removal of the contributions in summary proceedings. A penalty will be imposed in this case.
