My son (1 year old) who lived with my girlfriend was placed in emergency shelter. Now a scabies epidemic has broken out there, which means we haven't been able to see him for a few weeks now. Is it now possible to hold child protection/the court/youth care liable for this or to receive financial compensation without initiating a lengthy and expensive (court fees) lawsuit?Questioner
You can write a letter to youth care services requesting compensation. This will hold them more or less liable for the damages suffered.
