Fraud charges filed against lawyer or client in a civil case? The opposing party, in their statement of defense, deceived (very demonstrably) on a crucial point (by swapping photos of damage to a rental property with old photos). Can I (separately from the civil proceedings) file a complaint for forgery, fraud, or something similar? And if so, should I file a complaint against the lawyer or the client?Questioner
