Liability after a collision: Important information

Questioner

Dear, I have a question about a car accident. I held the other party's insurance company liable. Liability has already been acknowledged. However, the other party held my insurance company liable on the wrong date. I informed my insurance company that the date was incorrect. My question is whether my insurance company can still conclude that I am liable now that the other party's insurance company has fully acknowledged their liability.

Questioner

If the other party has fully accepted liability, your insurance may not accept that you are liable.

Questioner

Thank you so much for your quick response. However, if they were to hold me liable, I know that's no longer possible. Thanks.

In addition to Mr. Martens's answer, I recommend that you—if you haven't already done so—forward the acknowledgement of liability and other relevant documents (including the claim form) to your insurer. This way, your insurer will be fully aware of the situation. Success!
