Rights in Secondment: Discover What to Do

A few months ago my secondment agreement (at Randstad) was extended because the assignment I received at a government agency required it. Incidentally, this extension was extended until 1 January 2013 at the request of the government agency. Due to budget cuts this was reversed (by the government agency) to 1 October 2012. What are my rights? Do I have an agreement with Randstad until 1 Jan 2013 and are they obliged to continue paying me or does the agreement expire?

You have a secondment agreement with Randstad that runs until 1 January 2013. The agreement does not expire when Randstad's agreement with the government agency expires unless this is included in the secondment agreement. Whether Randstad must continue to pay you depends on the content of the secondment agreement. This cannot be answered in general terms.
