My husband's BV (flower bulb company) is about to go bankrupt. I have co-signed all notary papers and am personally liable. I have E53,000,- private money, what is the best thing for me to do now?

More information would be useful for good advice. Has a bankruptcy petition already been filed? Has a hearing date already been set? Who is filing for bankruptcy? Have you made arrangements with creditors? An extension can still be granted at the hearing (total maximum 6 weeks). If possible, dispute the claims at the hearing and request an extension. Applying for a suspension of payments is also possible. Private money. Were you a private guarantor as a co-signer? Are there prenuptial agreements? Is the money tied up in the bank or is it in shares? It may be possible to still get a loan from the city loan bank if the company is viable.
