Questioner
Hello, My manager has denied several requests and I'm wondering if this is allowed. *A travel expense claim was rejected, even though I was hired as an employee and she herself told me I could claim it. She rejected it herself. *My parental leave has been rejected three times, with varying reasons from her, even though I presented several options, but she still rejected them. (These weren't compelling business-related arguments on her part.) Is that possible and allowed? *I eventually had my contract hours reduced so I could schedule more flexibly and thus better manage my children's care. However, I still have little to no say in the matter and still have to resolve bottlenecks within the company by working irregular shifts. *Can an employer report you sick 1% of the time? (While working at 100%) *I also have to ask permission from my manager to swap my shift with a colleague, while other colleagues don't have to (except to inform her) There are more things that have happened but I don't want to bore you with the whole problem. This feels like bullying. What can I do about this? Now I know that my direct manager has a very good relationship with her supervisor. So bringing my "problem" there won't do much good. :( Please advise me on this... Kind regards, Someone who is no longer sureLawyer
Your description of the matter raises several questions and, in my opinion, doesn't lend itself well to an answer in this manner. Especially since you indicate that there are other issues at stake. I therefore advise you to contact one of the employment lawyers on this site directly, for example, myself, without obligation.Take the next step
