Legal Advice on Car Sales Fraud
Questioner
Good afternoon, we saw a car on the internet, and through an intermediary in the form of a transport company, this car should come from London to the Netherlands. We had to deposit the amount of 4,500 euros, and then the process would start. We just don't hear anything anymore and the car should have arrived by now. We can't get in touch, have already emailed and called dozens of times. Number not in use, you hear. The company is called: Logisticlands.com, immediately the website. Can you advise us? Can we still do something with this or have we lost everything? Thanks in advance.Lawyer
A quick search on the internet gives various associations with fraud for the company in question. Similar stories are on various forums and this seems like fraud. I advise you to report it to the local police. You can find additional information at http://www.opgelicht.nl/hulp/oplichtingtrucs/detail/auto-uit-engeland/ from Tros.Questioner
