Lawyer

Dear Questioner, You write that your daughter has spent every other weekend with her father for the past 5 years, but that she no longer wants to. I read between the lines that you are also concerned about the situation with your ex and the well-being of your daughter. Because nothing is on paper and - I suspect - there is also no order (judgement) on a contact arrangement, you can state with reasons why you are temporarily suspending or reducing the contact arrangement and perhaps also immediately offer to simultaneously request a mediation process or a change / determination of the contact arrangement from the court. This also depends on the age of your daughter. You will have to investigate which strategy you choose together with a lawyer. You can therefore temporarily suspend the contact arrangement with reasons on the basis of a change in circumstances. Please note that there may be a counter-reaction. Prepare yourself for that.
