Payslip and SV salary: Understand your rights

Questioner

Dear, Once a year we receive a pay slip with our monthly salary on it. Our monthly salary hardly changes to none in the period of a year. Now I checked with the UWV the amount that I will possibly receive in the event of a benefit. Now it appears that the SV salary differs greatly compared to the gross salary on my pay slip. We have no control over this, because we only receive a pay slip once a year and it is therefore not correct. What are the rules for this and can I do anything about it? Due to the difference between the SV salary on my pay slip and the SV salary that is known to the UWV, I would receive almost €300 less gross per month in benefits.

First of all, you are entitled to a monthly pay slip. It is not convenient that you only receive this once a year. Your question about the sv wage is more difficult to answer. Expense allowances (including travel expenses etc.) do not count, for example. If you receive 'disguised' wages (a higher travel allowance, for example, so that you end up with a fair result), then that is not okay and you can hold the employer accountable for this.
