Zero-hour contract advice - Childcare notice period
Questioner
I have a fixed-term zero-hour contract with a childcare organization. According to them, I have a one-month notice period, but I cannot find it in the collective labor agreement for childcare or in my contract. Do you perhaps know how that works? I have been asked to start working somewhere on October 1, which means that I want to leave the organization where I currently work on October 1. But I already have work, but they don't have a leg to stand on because of the zero-hour contract?Lawyer
You have a statutory notice period of one month. The question is whether your agreement/collective labor agreement stipulates that you must respond to calls, so are obliged to come to work. If not, you must formally cancel asap, but you no longer have to work.Take the next step
