Questioner

Can my boss force me to be at work 15 minutes earlier without paying for it? Tobacco collective labor agreement. There is nothing about that in the collective labor agreement. Nor in the employment contract. Now he has given a new supplementary contract which does state that. It now also states that I have to work 15 minutes longer without payment. So that is in the collective labor agreement. It is true, but he does have to pay for it. Which he does not do and also says that he does not have to!! I will leave it as it is. But I do want to know exactly what my rights are. I am afraid that there will come a day when I will unfortunately need it.

Lawyer

Your employer may not demand this of you (unilateral negative adjustment of employment conditions, also in conflict with the collective labor agreement). I advise not to sign and to form a united front with colleagues towards the employer. And is there a Works Council? Complain there too. If necessary, I can help you with this.

Thanks for the quick response. I had already consulted with my colleagues and I think there will be a meeting. There are more things in it that I do not agree with and I do not think they are legally valid. I am not allowed to say more to the customers. You tell me. I am not allowed to have money in my pocket. Only work on a counter with your own code. We do not even have that. But I want to know from my boss what I should and should not take seriously. Before I get a warning later!!. It also says not to eat behind the counter. But we do not have any breaks. And the 2 of us work 550 customers. I am also not allowed to make private calls. (I have a son who always has to call me when he comes home from school. Request vacation 4 months in advance. It is too crazy for words. I would also like to send him a registered letter with my objections. Which are then legal.. pPFFFFFFFFFF
