I bought a box spring bed 5 years ago for 2700 euros. The bed has recently started to sag more and more. When my boyfriend is in bed, I see that he is lying in a kind of 'pit' in terms of position. We wake up in the morning with back pain. The store in question is closing down, is now only an outlet and says it can no longer do anything for me. The store is/was affiliated with the CBW. On the CBW website I read that I have a 3-year warranty, I have had the bed for 5 years now. I also obtained information from another bed specialist and he indicated that I am certainly still entitled to something after purchasing such an expensive bed. You buy something like that for the long term and not to have to replace it after 5 years, which is now really the case. I actually think that the store where I bought the bed should meet me halfway in the costs. What can I do?Lawyer
When you buy a bed, you assume that you will enjoy it for a long time. If the bed was expected to last a long time given the quality and price and it now shows defects, you can hold the seller accountable for this on the grounds of non-conformity. The seller must ensure repair or replacement or otherwise accommodate you. It is best to send the seller a letter about this in writing (registered), if you have not already done so.Take the next step
