Compensation after a car accident in France

Dear, I had a car accident in France over 13 months ago. It was not my fault and the insurance of the other party also acknowledged liability. Resolving the damage to my car was no problem. That was done through my insurance company. Unfortunately, I suffered more damage than that. Due to the accident, I was unable to practice my profession as a self-employed person for a few months or not at all, and now I am faced with a large loss of profit/turnover. My therapy costs have now been reimbursed by the insurer, after 12 months (and many phone calls and emails from me), but the settlement of my economic loss is still pending. The last I heard is that the foreign insurer is only now, after 13 months, going to have the report assessed by their medical advisor. In my eyes I am getting one excuse/delay tactic after another to not pay. All contact is via the Dutch representative of the French insurer. What can I do about these delaying tactics? Where can I get help in my case? Is it useful to summon in the Netherlands (which is possible nowadays)? In France there is clearly a law that states that an insurer must make an offer no later than 8 months after an accident. The insurer does not pay much attention to this.

What an awful situation. I hope you have fully recovered and at least you are healthy again.
