Good afternoon, Due to reorganization I was redeployable, 16-hour contract, was offered an equivalent position at another location with a travel time of 54 minutes and 54 minutes back by public transport, do not own a car, with a schedule of 10 hours per week, am 6 hours short every week, so build up many minus hours in a short time. I have been told that I have to make these up during illness/vacation of colleagues, these colleagues have the same problem, it is more or less a fight to make up hours... Furthermore, I have the problem that I also have a contract with the same employer, of 16 hours, on 2 fixed days, where I do make 8 hours a day, so no problem. But because of this contract, at a different location again, it is almost impossible for me to make up for the minus hours that arise... I am now working on a VSO, according to the Social Plan I am not entitled to financial compensation, but after protest from my side they are prepared to pay me 3000 euros. I have been employed since 1-9-1996, gross salary 1019 euros per month, I am 61 year. Is the compensation of 3000 euros realistic, or is there more in it? Thanks in advance for your effort. kind regards, JLawyer
Did the employer take the initiative for this settlement agreement? Considering your long employment and age, it is not a high compensation. It is possible to negotiate a higher compensation. I can possibly help you with the negotiations. You can contact me personally for this.Take the next step
